Well I lost a bunch of data when the macbook hard disk failed. Wasn't backing up from my laptop, lesson learned. The site is back up now, finally got rid of mobile me galleries. Things did not go as smoothly as I had expected. The Photography section got an overhaul and I am content with it for now. More updates follow soon.

Finally Iweb 2.0.4 is here and yes I can publish now. Also working now are blog comments. Getting rid of the Albums section really helped make the site snappier and saved on publish times as well. The new Galleries are just iframes linked to the webpage. I don't know if these changes are final I am still tinkering with how to make the gallery pages look. Incase you were wondering here's the code and the author's mac hint http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=2007111620013523

<iframe height="100%" allowTransparency="true" frameborder="0" scrolling="yes" style="width:100%;border:none" src="http://gallery.mac.com/YOURNAME#ALBUMNUMBER&view=grid&bgcolor=black"></iframe>

There has been some downtime as I've switched hosts and migrated to MobileMe. Homepage services were down for a week and MobileMe is in no way stable yet so lets hope for the best and a quick software update for Iweb. At the moment I can't publish or access my galleries directly through Iweb. On a more positive note it's much easier for me to integrate and handle my galleries through Iphoto. I will be updating the Albums as soon as the service starts working. A couple of links may be broken or mistakenly linked to a wrong page. There is no server side PHP support so feedback is down indefinitely.
This seems to be the publisher of my choice for now. It's clean, easy and has a good progress bar. I previously used Transmit and it seemed to be really slow. Prior to that I used w2w but it doesn't have a progress bar and had some curl issues with larger sites that has supposedly been resolved. Kudos to this freeware.
